ACT Prep Resources
Pulaski County Youth Services' ACT Prep Program
The ACT Prep Program helps Pulaski County students avoid remediation and improve their ACT scores. ACT Prep classes are held each spring, summer, and fall. Initiated in 2006, our ACT Prep program provides 9th-12th graders a full-length practice exam, training on the four ACT subject areas (English, math, reading, and science), and teaches test-taking strategies. Student participants earn an average of one to a three-point increase in their ACT scores according to a formal review of the program.

The HIT application window is now open, and as we reported to you a couple of weeks ago, OnToCollege is on the ADE approved provider list.
We are here to make this application process as easy as possible for you. Just forward this email to the person in your district who is responsible for submitting grant applications, and they'll just need to follow these 4 easy steps:
1. Open the High-Impact Tutoring Grant Application on the ADE website.
2. DESE has given OnToCollege permission to provide the appropriate language to you for many of the questions on the application. You may COPY AND PASTE the verbiage in this document in order to speed up the process and ensure that you're approved.
3. The dollar amount you'll need to fill in for your district on the Grant Budget and Narrative Report spreadsheet is $1,350. If you have multiple schools in your district, this price includes access for all high schools in the district. This will provide all of your 9-12 students and staff continued access to our engaging online ACT, PreACT, SAT & PSAT Prep.
4. Submit to [email protected] by May 31, 2024.
Please call me or email anytime with questions.
