2024 One Korean Scholarship

My name is Chang Heon Lee, and I am the president of ONE KOREAN, the Korean American Grocers Association of Arkansas, and the Korean American Chamber of Commerce in Arkansas.

Every year, we hold an Annual Scholarship Banquet awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college students looking to further their education. Our goal is to show students that higher education is within their reach. We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our 8th Annual Scholarship Banquet later this year.

From 2017 to 2023 (7 years), we had the opportunity to award scholarships to 146 students and awarded a total of $146,000 in scholarships. In addition, we were able to provide donations to local police departments and four local Korean schools.

Last December, we awarded $1,000 scholarships to 26 students including 1 state trooper, 1 Firefighter, 2 National Guards who are working hard on the front lines for community safety, and also we were able to provide donations to local Korean schools.

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our 8th Annual Scholarship Banquet later this year. Our hope this year is to award 30 students scholarships!

And we will continue to provide donations to local Korean schools and others in need.
