- Attend the weeklong Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C.
- Develop leadership and career skills

2024 Tjuana Byrd Summer Internship Program
The 2024 application for the 4th annual Tjuana Byrd Internship Program is now open!
This is amazing paid summer internship opportunity for collegiate students identifying as a woman of color across the state of Arkansas majoring in STEAM fields. Since this program launched in 2021 over 60+ participants have had the opportunity to get real world experience in the field, attend professional development sessions and networking events. Some have even secured full-time jobs with participating companies after graduation!
Accepted applicants have the opportunity to stay in a fully furnished 4-person apartment completely FREE - provided by the Women's Foundation of Arkansas. Our participating companies are committed to paying a competitive wage of $15 - $20/hr (the exact amount depends on the company)!

2 weeks from today applications for our Tjuana Byrd Internship Program, presented by Acxiom, will close! Over the last two years we have had the opportunity to meet some amazing young ladies and place them with various companies in the Central Arkansas area. This year along with Acxiom we have CDI Contractors, L'Oréal Paris, Central Arkansas Water, Southwest Power Pool, Windstream, and Garver participating. Chosen applicants will receive competitive pay, free housing (if needed), and professional development. If you or someone you know are a rising college junior/senior, recent college grad that identifies as a woman of color majoring in science, technology, engineering, and math or other related fields apply below!
