Pulaski County Youth Services Summer JobsPulaski County Youth Services is excited to announce the Emerging Champions Pathways to Success Career Readiness Summer Workforce Program! We are inviting youth aged 16-21 who reside in the North, South, and Western areas of Pulaski County to apply for this opportunity. Selected candidates will be connected with a meaningful, paid job placement for the summer. Participants must have dependable transportation, be available to work five days a week, meet income eligibility guidelines, and pass a background check. Those chosen for the Summer Workforce Readiness Youth Employment Opportunity program will also need to complete workforce readiness assessments and activities to earn their Workforce Ready Certificate at the end of the summer. The job placements will provide youth with the opportunity to gain valuable soft skills, enhance their resumes, improve financial literacy, and build incredible community connections. We are looking to fill a front of the house position. This position includes packaging food orders for dine in customers as well as orders to go. Advancement to cashier and drive through is encouraged. We are open Monday through Saturday from 10:30am til 8pm, with the exception of Fridays, when we stay open til 9pm. We are closed every Sunday. The shift we are looking to fill begins at 4pm. You are usually off work 15-20 minutes after closing, if all closing duties are completed. (8:20-9:20 on Fri). You will be scheduled 4 nights a week, unless you ask for more hours. You must be available to work Saturdays, although you won’t be required to work every Saturday We can adjust the time your shift begins if school prevents you from being here exactly at 4.
